Race Day Schedule:
• 7:45-8:45 - Check-in, T-shirt pick-up, and same day race registration (cash/check only!)
(Please Note: T-shirts must be picked up in person at the race – they will not be sent to you!)
• 9:00 - Race start
From Duke Hospital:
•Drive East on Erwin Road •Follow signs to NC-147 South •Take the NC-55/Alston Ave exit and turn right onto NC-55 East •After about 2 miles turn right onto Riddle Road •You will reach a T junction with Fayetteville Road – turn left •After you cross Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy, continue South and the Solite Park entrance will be on the right!
From North Durham:
•Take US-15 S/US-501 S toward Chapel Hill •Follow signs to stay on US-15/501 South •Take Exit 105B for Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy (left lanes) •Continue on MLK Pkwy for about 4 miles •Turn right (South) onto Fayetteville Road – continue South and the Solite Park entrance will be on the right!
From Chapel Hill:
•Follow Interstate 40 East towards Raleigh •Take Exit 276 for Fayetteville Road toward Southpoint and keep left •Proceed North on Fayetteville Road for about 2.5 miles – the Solite Park entrance will be on the left!
•Parking is available at Solite Park •Overflow Parking: Street parking is available across Fayetteville Road along United Drive, as well as in the
Hydro Service and Supplies Inc. parking lots at 513 United Drive
•If using overflow parking, please follow the American Tobacco Trail to safely cross Fayetteville Road •Race start will be clearly marked with signs directing participants from the parking area
•The race will begin with a short loop inside Solite Park, on a mix of paved and unpaved trail •Runners will then enter the American Tobacco Trail (ATT) and head south (paved trail) •Runners will continue on the ATT until they reach West Woodcroft Parkway, then return to Solite Park
